he told me one day

that this would happen

that love would come into my life

and I didn't believe it

I said that didn't exist

that it was a fantasy

until the day Monica came into my life

I didn't know that everything would change

that I would give my life to him

and without it I wouldn't live.

Without meaning to, I adored her more and more every day.

without knowing I loved her more every day

I don't know if it was his look

I don't know if it was his smile

not even if it was his eyes

or her beautiful black hair

which makes me all numb.

What I did know is that she was my life.

that for her I would give everything

without knowing that she only loved me as a friend

When I found out I thought my life would collapse.

that I would die

I thought life no longer had meaning

since my poor heart suffered day by day

Well, I saw her every day.

and I knew I would never have it.
